Description
First detected in Europe in 2013, Xylella fastidiosa is one of the most dangerous plant bacteria worldwide, transmitting diseases to crops and trees. LIFE RESILIENCE is developing genotypes of pathogen-resistant plants to prevent the bacteria’s negative impacts.
The team is taking part in the 3rd European Conference on X fastidiosa on 29 and 30 April. The event is being organised jointly by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and the Horizon 2020 project XF-ACTORS.
The online meeting will take stock of all research carried out since Xylella fastidiosa first appeared in Europe nearly ten years ago.
