Description
This final event will present the project’s main results and the practical impact for farmers wanting to transition to regenerative agriculture practices. The event will focus on the use of regenerative agriculture to enhance dehesa ecosystems. Dehesas are areas of Mediterranean oak woodland transformed by humans to provide pasture for livestock.
The LIFE LiveAdapt and LIFE MycoRestore projects will participate, along with replicators and a representative from Spain’s Ministry of Agriculture. They will discuss the latest developments for livestock holders as well as the EU’s Common Agricultural Policy.
About LIFE Regenerate
Partners in LIFE Regenerate set out to develop a sustainable and profitable new business model for small and medium-sized farms on oak-based silvopastoral systems in Spain and Sardinia.
