The Lagoon of Life project team will host a LIFE platform meeting on integrated and innovative approaches to coastal wetlands, birds and habitat conservation. This hybrid meeting will take place on 12 and 13 October in Burgas, Bulgaria.

Description
The objective of the meeting is to gather European best practices on the sustainable management of coastal areas.
There will be one and a half days of presentations and a half-day field trip to the Burgas wetland complex.
Four panel discussions will focus on:
1. Coastal wetland governance; cross-sectoral cooperation
2. Climate change adaption and the role of coastal wetlands
3. Innovative restoration, conservation and monitoring approaches
4. The socio-economic value of coastal wetlands
This event will also celebrate the #LIFEis30 campaign.
