The LIFE NextFUMIGREEN project was developing circular solutions for sustainable agriculture by exploring bio-safe fumigants as eco-friendly alternatives to chemical treatments in greenhouses.
The session, titled "LIFE NextFUMIGREEN: Circular solutions for sustainable agriculture", brought together representatives from European, national, and regional institutions, as well as consortium partners, to discuss the challenges and opportunities of the circular economy in European agriculture.
As a partner event of EU Green Week 2025, the event also highlighted the project’s progress in developing natural fumigants as a sustainable alternative to conventional agrochemicals.
