The forum gathered over 3,500 participants and 190 speakers from 30 countries, including policymakers, industry leaders, and civil society members, to discuss sustainable development, green finance, energy transition, and digital innovation.
The three-day agenda featured high-level panels and thematic zones, with discussions on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), climate, transport, renewables, AI, and cybersecurity. The first day concentrated on ESG, climate, and transport; the second day focused on renewables and COP29; and the third day highlighted jobs, AI, and cybersecurity.
The LIFE Programme actively participated in panel discussions, emphasising the EU's commitment to green innovation and infrastructure in Central and Eastern Europe. The Programme was also actively promoted via the LIFE stand, where comprehensive information on LIFE and funding opportunities was disseminated.
Additionally, four Bulgarian LIFE projects attended and showcased their contributions to environmental sustainability:
