Hosted in the 2026 European Green Capital, Guimarães, this year’s edition focused on integrated approaches to climate resilience that went beyond adaptation, highlighting the role of small and medium-sized cities in driving innovative, citizen-centred solutions.
The LIFE Programme contributed to the event through its presence at the marketplace, where a dedicated stand showcased LIFE-funded initiatives supporting climate resilience and sustainable urban development across Europe. In addition, LIFE LATESTadapt and COOLIFEALMADA participated in thematic workshops, while several other LIFE projects joined the forum, encouraging exchanges on practical solutions and successful resilience strategies.
CINEA took part in the closing plenary on the second day, where it presented on "Scaling What Works: Finance and Tools for Resilience Beyond Pilots".
