Description
This online workshop will give the latest intel on wildlife poisoning in various European countries. Speakers from numerous LIFE projects will look at the achievements made in combating poisoning and where gaps still exist. The ultimate goal is to launch a European Day against poisoning at the European Parliament in early 2022.
Angelo Salsi, Head of Department at the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA), give a welcome speech. This will be followed by numerous LIFE projects providing updates from their respective countries.
About LIFE EUROKITE
LIFE EUROKITE has three key objectives:
- to significantly reduce red kite poisoning
- to identify and resolve problematic areas of electrocution or collision with power lines
- to reduce other human-related causes of mortality.
