Description
The European Commission is organising the third EU Clean Air Forum, in close collaboration with the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge of the Kingdom of Spain.
The Forum will bring together decision-makers, stakeholders and experts in a one-and-a-half-day conference to reflect on the development and implementation of effective European, national and local air policies, projects and programmes – and to inform about the ongoing revision of EU rules.
The event is organised in a hybrid format. This means that some participants/speakers will be onsite, with others online.
LIFE participation
Onsite, there will be a LIFE stand in Madrid’s Reina Sofia Museum, where the following three LIFE projects will be showcased:
- LIFE-ARIMEDA - demonstrating reductions in ammonia emissions through fertigation techniques using raw and digested pig slurry.
- LIFE-IP Urban Klima 2050 - The Basque County's largest climate action project.
- LIFE GySTRA - an innovative remote-sensing device able to continuously monitor emissions in real driving conditions.
CINEA representatives will be on hand to answer questions about the new LIFE programme 2021-2027 and clean air funding opportunities.
Online, representatives from the above three projects and various LIFE Integrated Projects will share their LIFE experiences. CINEA representatives will again be on hand for questions.
