Following the success of previous ECE meetings, ECE 2026 will once again bring together the global entomological community to share knowledge and inspire research. Insects and their associated micro-organisms provide vital ecosystem services, from pollination to soil health, yet they can also pose risks as they act as pests, disease vectors or invasive species. This congress will examine the challenges posed by insects, as well as the nature-based solutions
they offer to support a more sustainable future. To do so, it will present a rich programme of plenary sessions, symposia and posters.
The LIFE Programme will be present at ECE 2026 with a dedicated stand, alongside several LIFE projects.
