Description
The LIFE Cyclamen project works to enhance the effectiveness of the support services and assistance provided to potential LIFE programme applicants from Cyprus.
The country’s Department of Environment, through the project, is holding an online networking event on 19 November 2020. This will be followed by bilateral virtual meetings for potential LIFE applicants, which will run until the end of December.
This event will see current and past LIFE beneficiaries join LIFE applicants and LIFE enthusiasts interesting in applying for LIFE funding. Through the exchange of experiences and the one-on-one virtual meetings, it is hoped that fruitful collaborations leading to new LIFE proposals will develop.
Main agenda items include:
- Environmental technologies and solutions, including water, waste, air quality, soil, forest, health
- Climate change adaptation
- Climate change mitigation
- Nature conservation and biodiversity
- Climate and environmental governance and information initiatives
