At this meeting, the project’s main results, key achievements and lessons learned will be presented. National and international experts will share their experiences within other projects or conservation activities.
The conference will focus on:
- traditional rural activities and habitat conservation
- bogs and heathland restoration
- results-based payment schemes for conservation and communal lands and habitat conservation in the Natura 2000 network
There will also be a field visit to the Serra do Xistral.
The congress is aimed at technicians and managers working in the field of habitat conservation or agroforestry management in communal lands, local authorities, communal lands, conservation organisations and the general public.
