LIFE CEESEU-DIGIT Conference - Pathways to successful energy and climate planning: regional leadership and innovation in Central and Eastern Europe

The LIFE CEESEU-DIGIT conference brought together regional leaders, policymakers, energy experts, and civil society representatives to explore innovative approaches to energy and climate planning in Central and Eastern Europe at local, regional, and national levels.

The event focused on enhancing regional cooperation, showcasing best practices, and leveraging digital tools to support local and regional authorities in achieving their energy and climate goals. The links between Social Climate Plans (SCP), National Energy and Climate Plans (NECP), regional Energy and Climate Action Plans (ECAP), and local Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plans (SECAP) were presented and discussed, along with the impact of these plans on communities, especially vulnerable and marginalised groups.

Through interactive sessions, panel discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities, the conference empowered participants to drive the transition towards a sustainable, low-carbon future while addressing the unique challenges of the region.
