LIFE at Building Green Copenhagen 2025

Under this year’s theme, ‘Scaling for Enough’, Building Green Copenhagen will explore alternative approaches to constructing housing and infrastructure that focus on meeting human needs without overconsuming resources. These sustainable approaches maintain a long-term vision and aim to make a significant impact in the face of the urgent climate crisis.

Over the course of two full days, the event will host more than 180 international and national speakers who will share their insights and experiences through keynotes, debates and discussions. The focus will not be solely theoretical: over 200 practical solutions will be presented to more than 10 000 professionals from across the entire Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) value chain.

The LIFE Programme will have a dedicated stand (107), where visitors will be able to learn more about funding opportunities for environmental and climate-related initiatives. The LIFE Programme will also take part in a talk entitled “Unlocking the Future: Navigating EU LIFE Funding – Essentials and Strategies”, taking place on 30 October between 13:25 and 14:00 at the Green Stage, alongside representatives of LIFE projects attending the event.

The BUILD UP initiative, established by the European Commission in 2009 to support EU Member States in implementing the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD), will also be present at the stand.
