The LIFE BOREALWOLF project will hold an international seminar in Nuuksio on 15-16 November, ‘From conflicts to coexistence – new tools for human-wildlife conflict’.

The first day, to be held in English, will feature presentations from researchers of conflicts between people and wild animals from the UK, Canada and the US.
Participants will also hear about practical lessons learned from the LIFE WOLFALPS EU project, which is operating in the mountainous regions of Italy, France, Austria and Slovenia.
On day two, to be held in Finnish, local experts on large carnivores will discuss which solutions could be applied to conditions in Finland.
