Description
The team behind LIFE BioTHOP has developed a new twine that is 100% recyclable and biodegrades in roughly one year. This means that the leftover biomass after harvest can be used for composting and as a natural fertiliser.
The project’s results will be presented at this final event.
Two other LIFE projects will also present their work:
- LIFE Populair – Enhancing the implementation of Air Quality Management Plans in Slovakia
- LIFEPLASMIX – Innovations in Plastic Recycle Technologies
In addition, a European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF) project will also feature:
- FISH4FISH – Fish chitinolytic biowastes for the production of a compostable packaging material.
