LIFE AskREACH
The team will give an overview of the project and its Scan4Chem app, amongst other topics. Under the REACH Regulation, consumers have the right to know whether the articles they buy contain any substances of very high concern (SVHCs). The Scan4Chem smartphone app was part of LIFE AskREACH’s work to help consumers and companies apply this right; consumers can find out whether a product contains SVHCs by scanning the product’s barcode and sending a request to the supplier.
The conference will include a ceremony for the project’s company awards for the most SVHC-aware retailer and best supply chain communicators.
