LIFE at Aquatech Amsterdam 2025

Over 20,000 water professionals from around the world gathered at Aquatech Amsterdam—an opportunity to connect with industry experts, expand their knowledge, discover new technologies, and engage with both market leaders and start-ups.

At Aquatech Amsterdam, the spotlight was on 800+ exhibitors, 200+ speakers, product launches, award-winning innovations, and every aspect of the water sector.

The LIFE Programme had a stand showcasing its innovative solutions for protecting, restoring, and improving water quality across Europe.

The following LIFE projects were present at Aquatech Amsterdam:

• LIFE REMINE WATER: new water solutions for the mining industry: towards minimum liquid discharge and by-product recovery.
• LIFE AMIA: an innovative combination of WWT technologies for water reuse: anaerobic-aerobic, microalgae and AOP processes. 
• LIFE REWAINCER: a new model for the application and use of reclaimed water in industrial environments in the ceramic sector. 
• LIFE H2OBUS: best practices for H2O management and savings for BUS operators.
• LIFE FRESHMAN: to enlarge groundwater lenses in coastal zones by combined infiltration of freshwater and extraction of lower-level brackish groundwater.
• LIFE WATERSOURCE: large-scale nature-based drinking water production adapted to climate change induced water stress.
• LIFE GreenLED: Nature and LED-based rain water treatment for reuse in green cities
