LIFE at Adaptation & Nature Forum 2026

The Adaptation & Nature Forum was a key annual event dedicated to nature-based solutions (NbS) for climate change adaptation, bringing together stakeholders from across Europe to exchange knowledge and drive action. It was organised by the French Biodiversity Office (OFB) and the LIFE ARTISAN project, which supports the mainstreaming of nature-based solutions for climate adaptation across France.

The two-day event featured four roundtable discussions aimed at fostering dialogue between European and French perspectives on scaling up NbS. These sessions provided a space to share experiences, address common challenges and explore practical approaches to implementation. Participants also took part in plenary sessions and field visits, gaining first-hand insights into innovative practices and on-the-ground solutions.

The LIFE Programme was also present with a dedicated stand, offering participants the opportunity to learn more about its projects.

By encouraging collaboration and exchange, the forum strengthened the role of nature-based solutions in addressing climate impacts and supported their wider uptake across Europe.
