LIFE at the 2026 European Carbon Farming Summit

The third edition of the European Carbon Farming Summit will take place from 17 to 19 March 2026 at the Padova Congress Centre, in the historic city of Padua, Italy.

  • Conferences and summits

Building on the success of the 2024 edition in Valencia and the 2025 edition in Dublin, the 2026 Summit will convene hundreds of stakeholders to shape the future of regenerative agriculture in Europe and advance climate mitigation through carbon farming practices. Organised by SAE Innova, Climate KIC and the Credible project, the event will provide a collaborative space to define effective mechanisms for scaling robust climate action.

The programme will feature three main sessions: ‘Which practices for European soils?’, ‘What standards and certification mechanisms?’ and ‘How to monitor carbon fluxes?’. Scientists, policymakers, businesses, NGOs, land managers and carbon project developers are invited to attend.

The LIFE Programme will take part with both a stand and a dedicated session, and numerous LIFE-funded projects will also participate.
