CINEA at the New European Bauhaus Festival on 9-13 April

From 9-13 April 2024, the New European Bauhaus Festival celebrated innovation, sustainability and beauty around the EU and the world!  

Interactive sessions, workshops, demonstrations, and artistic performances were offered to experience the innovative power of Europe in building a common future that is not only visually stunning but also mindful of our collective well-being.

The festival also featured the New European Bauhaus Prizes 2024 Ceremony rewarding 20 projects, designs, and ideas that align and exemplify the movement's commitment and embody the NEB values.

The 2024 edition also featured a Special Recognition to Ukraine's Reconstruction and Recovery Effort and put the spotlight on regions across the EU facing more intensively socio-economic constrains, and places challenged the most by the need to evolve to a carbon neutral economy.

8 CINEA managed projects were on show at the FAIR exhibitions, covering 6 Horizon Energy projects (CrAFT, EHHUR, BOSS, NEBourhoods, DESIRE, and NEBULA), 1 Horizon Climate project (CARDIMED) and 1 LIFE Programme project (CLEAR-HP).

Besides, 3 LIFE projects participated in Satellite events:

• in "CO-BAUHASING", an art exhibition in Cartagena and Blanca (Spain), Adazi (Latvia), Varazdin (Croatia) and Erzsevetbaros (Hungary)

• in "Meet awardees of the New European Bauhaus Prizes", hosted by BUILD UP and organised by TECNALIA alongside the NEBULA (Horizon) project
