Final LIFE AMPHICON International Conference

Over the past six years, the LIFE AMPHICON project had made a significant contribution to amphibian conservation across six Natura 2000 sites in Slovenia, Germany and Denmark.

The final LIFE AMPHICON conference marked the conclusion of the project’s activities by presenting its main achievements and bringing together amphibian experts from across Europe.

The event was organised into three thematic sessions: conservation of amphibian species and habitats; amphibians and roads; and citizen science and education. In addition to oral presentations and poster sessions, the conference programme featured the amphibian mobile exhibition and a field excursion to one of the project sites.
