Research & Innovation Days 2025 Exhibition
We are pleased to announce that the 2025 exhibition will feature two projects managed by CINEA:
EDITO: Underlying models for the European DIgital Twin Ocean
Bringing together ocean knowledge, modeling and technological expertise, the EU-funded (Horizon Europe Mission Ocean) EDITO-Model Lab project is designing next-generation ocean models as part of the European Digital Twin Ocean initiative. The aim is to enable stakeholders to develop ocean management scenarios. The project will deliver a VOML that will feature an interactive and codevelopment environment.
The project will support the sustainable blue economy and explore ‘what-if scenarios’ to find solutions to natural and man-induced hazards.
ECHOES Digital Sky Demonstrator
The Demonstrator is co-funded by the EU through the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF Transport) and supported by the SESAR Joint Undertaking. It is managed by CINEA and aims to test satellite-based technologies to enhance aviation connectivity, efficiency, and sustainability - especially over remote and oceanic areas.
Satellite event: European Innovation Council Drone Day 2025
In addition, CINEA will also be present at the European Innovation Council (EIC) Drone Day on 16 September 2025 in Brussels - a satellite event of the Research & Innovation Days. Find out more about our participation at Drone Day here.
