EU4Algae Info Session

European algae stakeholders joined the EU4Algae Info Session,  which was held online on 20 June 2022 at 2:30 pm. During the event, participants took part in the working groups and attended presentations, which covered (but were not limited to):

• Q&A sessions with representatives of the EU4Algae consortium and lead facilitators;
• Extensive details about the online stakeholders’ forum;
• Group work and discussion on integrating algae species into the EU market.

EU4Algae is a European algae stakeholder platform, launched by the European Commission, the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA) and a consortium of sustainability consultants and algae organisations.

The aim of the platform is to accelerate the development of a European algae industry and promote algae for nutrition and other uses among consumers and businesses in the EU.
