Description
On 13 and 14 April, the European Commission and the EIP-AGRI Service Points will hold a high-level online seminar: 'Healthy soils for Europe: sustainable management through knowledge and practice'. This two-day interactive meeting will showcase innovative solutions that can help address soil management challenges.
Healthy soil has a fundamental role to play in sustainable food production. It is also important for water filtering, carbon sequestration and biodiversity conservation. Various break-out sessions will take a closer look at these critical roles.
Representatives from the LIFE agriCOlture, LIFE Agrowetlands II, VITISOM LIFE, LIFE POREM, LIFE Biorest, LIFE ClimaMed and LIFE+FORAGE4CLIMATE projects will also be present, and they will have the chance to share the results of their work.
