Community-Driven Building Renovation for a Climate-Neutral Europe – #EURegionsWeek Webinar

The webinar, organised by the Support Service for Citizen-Led Renovation Projects in collaboration with the LIFE project RENOVERTY, will focus on empowering communities to undertake energy-efficient building renovations. With buildings responsible for over a third of the EU’s greenhouse gas emissions, the event will explore the role of energy communities in reducing energy demand and emissions, helping to meet the EU’s decarbonisation goals. 

The webinar will feature presentations on existing and upcoming energy community projects, showcasing how urban and rural communities can become key players in building renovations. Panelists will discuss best practices, challenges, and future opportunities for community-driven renovations, highlighting the importance of energy communities in achieving the EU's "Fit-for-55" goals.
