Description
Since their introduction in 2014, 70 integrated projects have been funded in 25 Member States (and involving actions in 26 countries). These projects have a combined budget of more than €700 million. They also mobilize and coordinate the use of more than €20 billion in complementary funding from other EU and national funds as well as the private sector.
The communications work of the integrated projects is an important aspect, especially in connecting citizens with the European dimension of climate and environmental action.
The broad aim of the communications workshop was to provide practical support by presenting and discussing the best practice examples from the peer group of integrated projects.
