Climate action that works for you: an agenda for competitiveness, prosperity and resilience

On 30 September 2025, the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Climate Action invited stakeholders from across sectors to a high-level hybrid event in Brussels, featuring contributions from the Innovation Fund and LIFE Programme.

Titled ‘Climate action that works for you: an agenda for competitiveness, prosperity and resilience’, this one-day event reaffirmed the EU’s commitment to ambitious climate goals while also providing an essential platform for dialogue between stakeholders and decision-makers. By showcasing success stories, the event stressed once again the economic and social benefits of climate action, including improved wellbeing, enhanced resilience, and long-term economic prosperity.

The LIFE Programme had three booths on the ground floor, featuring also the projects LIFE FLOPRES and LIFE AdaptCalaMillor

The LIFE PACT took part in the Shaping the Future: Testimonials from the Field session (11:00–12:00) with Baptist Vlaeminck, project manager, as a speaker.
