Since its creation in 2003, the CIVITAS Forum has provided the ideal opportunity to hear from the cities, people and projects that are driving innovation in smart, inclusive and sustainable mobility. Typically attracting around 600 attendees, it also promotes the sharing of ideas and helps build relationships among important players involved in transforming urban mobility across Europe.
This year, the event will be held in the picturesque city of Parma in Italy, from 1-3 October 2024. It will focus on how the CIVITAS community is shaping the future of urban mobility and contributing to the mobility renaissance! City representatives, policymakers, practitioners, planners, academics and mobility enthusiasts are invited to join us for this exciting event on the sustainable urban mobility calendar.

Description
CIVITAS is one of the flagship programmes helping the European Commission achieve its ambitious mobility and transport goals, and in turn those of the EU Green Deal. It does this by acting as a network of cities, for cities, dedicated to sustainable urban mobility.
The CIVITAS initiative is funded by DG Transport and Mobility, with project implementation overseen by CINEA. Since its launch in 2002, CIVITAS has advanced research and innovation in sustainable urban mobility and enabled local authorities to develop, test and roll out measures via a range of projects.
