3rd ESP Europe Conference

The 3rd edition of the ESP Europe Regional conference took place in Tartu, Estonia, from 7-10 June 2021.  

The event was organised in a hybrid format. This means that some participants/speakers were on site, with others online.

Third ESP Europe Conference

The theme of this year’s conference was ‘Ecosystem Services Science, Policy and Practice in the face of Global Changes’. Topics on the agenda included nature-based solutions, land-use planning, ecosystem services modelling and applications, green and blue infrastructure and biodiversity protection.

Also, Sylvia Barova from the new European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA) gave a keynote on the LIFE programme’s recent Bringing nature back through LIFE study.
