The LIFE SAMFIX project aims to stop the spread of an invasive alien species (IAS) known as the Asian ambrosia beetle (Xylosandrus scolitidae) in various Natura 2000 sites in Spain, France and Italy.
The ‘2nd National Conference of the LIFE SAMFIX project’ will present the results to date.
The team will provide an update on the knowledge gained through their work on the Xylosandrus scolitidae and the risks it poses. They will also showcase their citizen science tools to control and contain these biological invasions.
