2026 LIFE info days for Italy

The Calls for proposals 2026 were published on 21 April on the EU Funding & Tender Opportunities Portal, covering the different types of eligible actions under the European Programme for the Environment and Climate Action (LIFE) and its four sub-programmes: Nature and Biodiversity, Circular Economy and Quality of Life, Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation, and Clean Energy Transition.

This online event is aimed at Italian LIFE applicants and potential applicants (public and private entities, including NGOs and civil society organisations). It offers a valuable opportunity to explore the LIFE Programme, learn about the key novelties of the 2026 Calls, and discover funding opportunities to support innovative environmental and clean energy transition projects under the 2021–2027 LIFE Programme.

Participants will also be able to:

• Learn about the submission, evaluation, and selection process for 2026 LIFE project proposals, as well as key financial aspects of the Programme
• Receive practical guidance on preparing and submitting high-quality LIFE proposals
• Discover ongoing and recurring support measures available to Italian applicants under the LIFE Programme 2021–2027, including specific support actions under the ‘SITE – Sistema Italia in Europa’ project for 2026
• Hear first-hand experience from an Italian LIFE project nominated for the 2026 LIFE Awards in the Nature category

The event will take place online via Microsoft Teams and will be held in Italian. It will also provide an opportunity to interact with key LIFE stakeholders at European and national level and to engage directly with speakers involved in the Programme.
