Multiple Framework Contract in Cascade for the Provision of Scientific Advice for Aquaculture

This invitation to tender will result in the conclusion of a multiple Framework Contract (MFC) in cascade with three framework contractors for the provision of specific and timely scientific advice in support of the implementation of EU legislation relevant foraquaculture, the implementation of the strategic guidelines for EU aquaculture, and the future EU Algae initiative.

Some examples include the provision of scientific advice linked to the implementation of Regulation 708/20072 on the use of alien and locally absent species in aquaculture, any provision of scientific advice related to the preparation of the guidance documents planned in the Strategic Guidelines for EU aquaculture, or the provision of advice necessary in the context of the implementation of actions under the future EU Algae initiative.

The ultimate objective is to contribute to the efforts to develop the potential of the aquaculture sector in the EU in a way that is consistent with the European Green Deal objectives.
