Horizon Europe: EUR 15 million available for projects supporting cost-effective next-generation batteries for long-duration stationary storage (Batt4EU Partnership)

Following the adoption of the Horizon Europe 2025 work programme, the European Commission has launched a new call for project proposals to support research and innovation in cross-cutting areas. This specific topic covers cost-effective next-generation batteries for long-duration stationary storage (Batt4EU Partnership).

The total indicative budget available is EUR 15 million. The deadlines for submissions are 2 September 2025 (first stage) and 31 March 2026 (second stage).
