Horizon Europe Energy: €234 million available for projects supporting sustainable, secure and competitive energy supply

Following the adoption of the Horizon Europe 2025 work programme, the European Commission has launched a new call for project proposals to support research and innovation ensuring more sustainable, secure and competitive energy supply through solutions for smart energy systems based on renewable energy solutions.

The total indicative budget available is €234 million. The deadline for submissions is 17 February 2026.
