CEF Transport – 2025 Technical Assistance to Member States in the field of road safety

This is an invitation for EU Member States to submit a proposal in the field of road under the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) – Transport sector. 

Invitation for Technical Assistance to Member States 

The call covers the following topic:

• Support to Member States in the field of Road Safety

The objective of this invitation is to gear up efforts to reach EU road safety objectives for 2030 and 2050 and support Member States in fulfilling these targets. The technical assistance to the EU Member States in the field of road safety will support activities related to: 

1. Cross-border cooperation in the enforcement of road-safety-related traffic rules in the Union.
2. Collection of Key Performance Indicators for road safety.
3. Collection of data for, and performance of, the Network-wide road safety assessment. 

The estimated available call budget is €8 960 000. Under this invitation to submit a proposal, one single lump sum contribution will be allocated per Member State in accordance with the European Commission’s decision on lumpsum contributions.
